Health & Safety

GRC are one half of a retained partnership with a leading specialist in Health & Safety. This gives GRC the confidence & support to operate in hostile environments and carrying out challenging tasks with the ability to take measured risks.

Having mitigations in place to minimise risk is crucial to allow us to operate. Ensuring all compliance is adhered to creates a safe environment for not only our staff but also customers and the public.

Health & Safety should be of the highest importance for all businesses.

The partnership GRC have entered into has the added benefit that GRC have taken on tasks and responsibilities in conjunction with our H&S partner to allow us to provide this as a bolt on service to our clients quickly.

If GRC are actively involved in a project we can quickly bring in our H&S team to carry out on site RAMS to close a situation down. This can keep things moving at a speed the client is comfortable with without unnecessary delays of waiting for external H&S teams to get to site and make a decision.

Using a health and safety (H&S) company to assist on complicated projects can provide several advantages, including:

1. Expertise:

H&S companies have a wealth of expertise in the field of health and safety, and can provide specialised knowledge on complex projects. They are up to date with current legislation and best practices, and can provide guidance on how to ensure compliance with regulations. 2. Risk assessment:

H&S companies can conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and risks associated with a project. This can help to mitigate potential accidents or incidents and reduce the likelihood of injuries or damage. The GRC support vehicle fleet comprises of 4×4 pickup style vehicles with secure back boxes and lockable trays for firearms or armoury alongside Land Rover Discovery and Defender vehicles for additional off road or specialist capability.

3. Training:

H&S companies can provide training to employees and contractors on site to ensure that they are aware of potential hazards and how to avoid them. This can help to promote a culture of safety on site and reduce the likelihood of accidents or injuries.

4. Documentation:

H&S companies can provide documentation and reports on the health and safety aspects of a project, including risk assessments, training records, and incident reports. This can help to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly documented and can be used for future reference.

5. Cost savings:

Engaging an H&S company can potentially save costs in the long run, as they can help to identify and mitigate potential hazards before they become costly incidents. Additionally, by ensuring compliance with regulations, companies can avoid costly fines and legal penalties.
Overall, using an H&S company to assist on complicated projects can provide a range of benefits, including expertise, risk assessment, training, documentation, and cost savings.
